Rogue Billionaires in Disguise – Audiobook Online

Rogue Billionaires in Disguise is a love book by the author Blair Babylon.
Maxence’s brother is trying to kidnap or kill him, and an organized crime thug wants to behead Max and feed the sharks for completely different reasons.

So when a cute blonde girl stands on a stool in the middle of Buddha’s bar in Paris and attracts the attention of the wrong guys, Maxence rushes to the rescue. Everything about her appealed to him: her sweetness, her giggles, and especially the fact that she was in trouble.

That last part leaves her with sugar and catnip for Max.

Luckily, he only has five days before leaving Paris and Europe to go wherever his global charity work will send him this time. Why not dedicate it to the funny blonde who insists he lied to her? Indeed, if she thinks everything he says is a lie, then he can confess his guilt, unburden his soul, and reveal what he thought he never had. can do.

Five days with her sounded like heaven, if he could convince her to stop throwing him out of her hotel room.

My life had become a sad country song, but instead of going south, I went to Paris. I’m a good girl with nothing to lose, literally. My boyfriend stole everything. Everything but a non-refundable plane ticket to Paris, the supposed trip of a lifetime where that loser will propose at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

So I got on the plane without him.

After all that, it’s understandable that when I started drinking at Buddha Bar, things got a little out of control. Fortunately, a man intervened. He was so ripped I could see every thick muscle in his abs, obliques, chest, and arms through the tight T-shirt he was wearing. He rose above those who were bothering me, and they backed off. I took him back to my hotel because I was drunk that night and made bad decisions.
The last thing I need is a man who wants to save me when I’m trying to do all the wrong things.

This is a good start to the Maxence line I’ve been waiting for. Maxence is an interesting character, and this first book is a great introduction to his beloved, Dree.

I love that Maxence is so willing to help Dree, just because she seems to be a woman in distress. I love that helping women in need is something he does often.

It bothered me that Maxence was so open to sexual experiences, even though he had vowed to be celibate during his journey to become a priest. I understand that he probably won’t actually become a priest, but it still bothers me that he breaks his vows so much. He felt guilty about it, and always confessed, but still…

I would say that I prefer romances to less eccentric sex. Since 50 Shades of Gray was such a hit, most romantic movies have at least some BDSM and some quirky scenes. This is true of most Blair’s Babylon books and series. I still read them, because her writing/plot is so good — but I wish there were more romances that would have love scenes that didn’t contain BDSM or a lot of twists and turns.
