Morgana and Henrik go into the office and she knows she must have fallen. After a brief moment together, Henrik got up and walked out of the room and back to tell her to remember that she was his assistant and would be at her desk on Monday. With Evaleen and Aria at our weekly meeting, I saw Hendrix and him with a woman. He turned and walked over to say hello and then his girlfriend walked over. Henrik and Morgana were caught in the office again and there was no way out so she quit. Henrik then continued to lie to his superiors but they knew it and fired him.

Morgana spotted Henrik walking down the street with a woman in his arms. She tried to run away but he saw her and came to chat. As they were talking and Henrik thought he was making progress, Zooey interrupted them. Morgana took the time to say goodbye to him even though he wanted to continue the conversation afterwards. Zooey told him they had an investor meeting in the morning with Jacob at his old company. Twist, spin and gear.

Rules of Payne by Elizabeth Lynx is the first newly re-released book in her Cake Love series. It is a stand-alone book as the couple’s story is completed in this first book. I was hesitant at first, this book didn’t fully interest me and loved it until maybe a quarter of the way through. I still feel it’s a bit long but it’s totally hilarious, sexy, outrageous and amusing- loud funny in parts.

Morgana is a force to be reckoned with. The abuse she suffered, intentionally or unintentionally, at the hands of her boss was extremely serious but it was her dream job and she stuck with it.

Henrick never had to be any other way than he was. All work and no play. But when his human resources officer urges him to hire an assistant, the absolutely BEST qualified person is the one who shakes him up like no woman has ever been before. He was determined to keep her away from him and all the temptations she exuded.
