They really are the perfect crimes. In fact, the only thing that unites the victims is the man they all know: Jack Reacher.
I can’t discuss my main objection without spoilers, so I won’t. Bottom line: the killer’s method of doing the killings doesn’t work that way. And that was established in the documentation long before this was written. I hope the next book has a better Jack Reacher-someone who isn’t always the smartest person in the room, especially since everyone else is insanely stupid. This story is so reliant on the tiniest details and nuances that only Reacher understands. And the FBI agents were too stereotypical.
Love Jack Reacher’s books… this is one of my favorites at the moment. You guessed it all the time. FBI guy Blake seems a bit ridiculous but that’s okay, Every good story needs someone you have to roll your eyes. A few words about the reader. I usually prefer Dick Hill, but McClain is very good at this. highly recommend Running Blind.
