A lot of my friends love Tara’s work, I don’t love it the way they do, but for the most part I like her work. This book is my favorite book about her that I have read so far.
I love Kennedy. She comes from a very close family, sometimes works with her father (a bailiff), has a family that is a police officer, and always visits the family home during game time. She is a strong woman, a veteran, smart, sassy, ​​with a great sense of sarcasm. But she was also a little tired. Her husband cheated on her and her best friend and the man with whom she cried tears of joy in the war zone knew about it but never told her. So it goes without saying her life has changed dramatically and she is now single with two daughters to take care of and a rarely seen ex-husband. She is really fun to read.
Enter Griffin, the guy who knows about the affair, was once one of her best friends, and is now competing with her to see who can catch the madman first. The thing about Griffin is he’s just a nice guy. He loves Kennedy and her girls, he’s always around, especially the girls. And he’s always had feelings for Kennedy, like since they were in high school together.
