And as if that wasn’t enough, someone (Max) accidentally poisoned Mr. Markham. It’s hot, they’re running out of supplies, they can’t find the gun, and things are going badly. Again.

I admire the Chronicle of St. Mary’s. I feel each character is a part of my family and I thank Jodi Taylor for bringing them to my life in every chapter. Zara Ramm is once again absolutely amazing. You will never be able to convince me that Zara is not the real Max. Words cannot describe how delighted I am to have found this series and I pray that Jodi Taylor will not stop writing them. I don’t know what I would do without them. Thank you, Miss Taylor, you are a genius.
