What a great blend of the two series! Keep your attention the whole time. Fun, great characters, more crew. more sub-plots with side characters and fun
The prequel opens a new series with Jelena, the daughter of the MCs in the Fallen Kingdom series.
That series was on the shallow side, more of a space opera genre than a sci-fi thriller.
Given the younger Jelena and Eric, and the “cute” attachment Jelena has with animals (she’s either a budding cat lover or likes ships based on the animal shapes they have), this feels like it’s crossed my YA threshold into a teen book. territory. While not bad, these two kids don’t do it for me.
