I’ve always loved the Cinderella story and when I saw it as part of a twisted series, I was so excited. I love this version of the story and the struggles Cinderella has to overcome. The only tricky part is in the middle when Cinderella and Charles are finally together and building their relationship, that part feels like it’s stretched a bit. Otherwise I would recommend this book.

Lim’s Cinderella is a much braver, more resilient and hardworking person than the original. Not only does she have a pretty face, but she’s also more focused on creating herself than daydreaming about the Prince. Elizabeth Lim has done a great job as an independent Cinderella who has both feet firmly on the ground.
