Sourcery is the third book in the Wizards series, but you can listen to the Discworld novels in any order. The first book in the Discworld series—Colors of Magic

Sourcery is another excellent novel by Terry Pratchett full of fun, humor and political satire. It follows Rincewind as he tries to avoid joining but fails when a powerful Sourcerer arrives in town and takes over. There’s a new cast of characters to enjoy, including Nijel the Terminator and Conina the Hairdresser, daughter of Cohen the Barbarian, but Rincewind is once again the star of the show.

Pratchett is hitting her stride with Discworld books right now, and while I think Equality Rite is the best I’ve read to date, it’s definitely Rincewind’s best.

Terry Pratchett fans will love this book, and if you’re new to the series, this is a great place to be.
