Blake Crouch’s Frozen Summer is part of Forward, a collection of six stories about the near and distant future by out-of-this-world authors. Each section can be read or heard in one thought-provoking sitting.
This is a very minor spoiler but for like minded people like me it will be good news. a lot of AI stories end with humans and AI having sex and it’s all about the ethics of that. awesome, this story didn’t go there. This story is great. In the last third of chapter 2, things start to really get very, very interesting enjoy!
I cannot participate in this story. This story is character driven but I don’t care about the characters. The story swings back and forth between action scenes and romantic scenes. The author is not sure what kind of story he wants to write. Very trendy story. maybe too trendy. perhaps the author didn’t really believe in his subject, or perhaps the ideas he wanted to write about it surpassed his talent as a writer.
