He’s written best-selling novels, won Grammys and the National Medal of Humanities, and made a movie with Robert Altman with an incredible level of improvisation.

I’m not the fastest reader in the world but I finished it in about 3 days. I also grew up in an ordinary home and can relate to his experience. GK doesn’t seem to be covering up his warts. He also gives a great window into how he made the PHC, which would be disappointing if not included in the book. He also does a great job of coming up with chance moments in his life that changed his course for the good. I could not recommend this book more highly.
