The Bitterroots – Full Audiobook A Novel By C J Box

Most of the time it is not the story that attracts you in the first place, it is the narration that make you inclined towards listening something that you are not aware of at first. Same is the case with this novel Christina Delaine gives you the first appealing glance by the magic of her voice and after that you are indulged in the story for a long time. C. J. Box is not behind in any respect as the story is a strong one with elements that are deep rooted in society. 

The book also provides a feeling of connection with Winterkill and Savage Run and over all is a nice addition in the writer’s work. The opening is tensed and stressed because Cassie Dewell tries to fulfill both of her duties, as an investigating officer and also as a mother at home.

Though she is always under the storm when it comes to her family because she has to stay out all night in most of the cases but again this is not an excuse that she gives. Dramatic twist appears when an old friend calls in Cassie for a help in a case that first does not seem to be too messed up. A man assaulted a young girl form a high family and now they want justice. Though appear to be a simple case the case weaves into complex patterns after the start of the investigation.

Several other influential families step in so that the investigation procedure can be stopped. Cassie realizes that the whole upper class is connected to one another in different ways and thus it is a mass mafia she is dealing with in a small and rather simple case.
