This book hooked me up pretty quickly. I’ve read a lot of World War II novels over the years but almost nothing has to do with post-war Israel. The story may be fictional, but is based on actual events. The author takes us back in time and asks us to review the actions taken during the massacre. Is it the action of a hero or a villain? We find that the answers are not so simple and that the world is not one of absolutes. Great read.
