The End of All Things By John Scalzi – Science Fiction Audiobook

John Scalzi is a maestro when it comes to delivering the best science fiction fantasies. He is a phenomenal storyteller and his craft in producing excellent fictional worlds is also something extraordinary. The author has shown his brilliance in multiple novels where The Last Emperox and Old Man’s War novels are arguably the best ones from him.

The End of All Things is the sixth chapter in the Old Man’s War novel series. This science-fiction fantasy made many new fans of the class writing done by John. The narration of this chapter was done by Tavia Gilbert and William Dufris. John Scalzi himself had a small role to play in it. It was overall quite magnificent performance.

The humans have now expanded themselves into space but only to discover a universe that is populated with a range of different species of aliens. The formation of the Colonial Union was imminent and it did happen for the sake of protecting people from a highly hostile universe. The CU employed Earth along with its excessive population as soldiers and colonists. It was a pretty decent arrangement for CU. Then there was a ‘no more’ thing coming from the Earth.

Now, CU is living upon its borrowed time. It wouldn’t be more than a couple of decades when the Colonial Defense Forces will be depleted and the human colonies would become extremely vulnerable to the different species of aliens. They were anxiously waiting for the first-ever sign of weakness to drive mankind to ruins.

The novel is well written and it is even better performed by Tavia and Dufris. You must see this audiobook as a package and it is worth your time and money.
