Review 1: The Forsaken audiobook by JF

not sure if I’ll do another

Good knowledge of the south, good dialect. I actually grew weary of the story. and the language was AWFUL. now it may be that thugs actually speak this way, but too much. Also, it is unrealistic to imagine that kind of whoring and drugging and corruption in a small town

Review 2: The Forsaken audiobook by Michael R. Rainey

Forsaken

This story was too long but ended too soon. The characters were well developed and there was plenty of action. I didnot like the sections that flipped back 40 years. It took a while to identify this was a flashback as many of the characters had a role in the flashback era as well as the current times. I have listened to Ace Atkins books he wrote under the Spenser detective series for Robert Parkers’s estate and they are excellent. I will continue with those and maybe I will try another Quinn Colsen story but not for a while

Review 3: The Forsaken audiobook by Cliff Price

Ace Atkins is one of the most underrated writers in the industry. He’s done an outstanding job of taking over the Spenser character created by Robert Parker and I find Quinn Colson to be one of the more interesting lead characters I have read. Atkins keeps his stories moving not a lot of fluff. This is the fourth book I’ve read in the Colson series and I will definitely read them all
