The Magpie Lord By KJ Charles | Best Literature & Fiction Book
The Magpie Lord is an LGBTQ+ fictional novel. A new series starts with this chapter under the title of A Charm of Magpies. The book is written by KJ Charles. She is an author and a freelance editor. The author is known for writing gay, straight, contemporary romance, and historical romance stories. You will mostly experience some element of horror and fantasy in her writing. A good example of her best work is her A Case of Possession. A similar gripping experience could be observed in her Flight of Magpies novel as well.
The narration of this book is done by Cornell Collins. Cornell is a British narrator and the performance was A++ by every aspect of audio narration. The author was able to effortlessly bring the characters of Lucien and Stephen to life.
Lucien Vaudrey was exiled for a couple of decades to China. He had no intentions to ever make a return to England. However, with the extremely mysterious deaths of his brother and father, it looked highly likely that the novice Lord Crane has actually inherited an earldom. He has also inherited a good range of enemies of his family.
He definitely needed to have some magical assistance and that too in a quick time. He really didn’t expect the things to get so angry. On the other side, Stephen Day, the magician has got some really good reason to hate the family of Crane.
This book will make a great listen where the credit for audiobook really goes to the narrator, Cornell Collins. Apart from that, the story was also very well-conceived and delivered by KJ Charles. All in all, this book is a significant effort that really impressed the audience.
