This is by far the best James Bond book I’ve heard that’s a fantastic action story and should definitely be made into a movie with two thumbs up. He must listen

The Man From Barbarossa has a great plot twist and most of the action takes place in Russia around the time the communist regime is being overthrown. So when Sebastian Faulks says he chose Russia as the location for Bond’s outing “Devil May Care” because Bond has never been there, he’s probably limiting this assertion to Fleming’s Bond .

This book also manages to address the barbarism of the Nazi regime in Germany during the Second World War, with a particular focus on its treatment of the Jews. ‘Scales of Justice’ is a terrorist organization for hire that kidnaps a man they suspect to be a Nazi war criminal hiding in America. They put this man on trial in an elaborate attempt to undermine the new Russian regime.
