Wow, what a twisted book!!!! I have read several books by this author and she has never let me down including this one. What you think you know about a troubled marriage is not what you think it is. There is a myth, unbelievable story behind it all. The whole family has secrets and oh my, they’re majors. They are not blatant lies that can be hidden. These secrets desperately needed to be revealed and when they were finally revealed, fireworks exploded all around. You never know what can happen when a secret is exposed and how someone will handle it. This author did a great job with the ending and ended it beautifully and tightly for all of us readers to love. I’m very pleased with how it ended. Sheryl Browne really outdid herself in this book and I can’t wait to read her next book.

This book captivated me. Is the climax surprising? Not really. It’s great to see the story told by all the characters involved and from their point of view. The story of Karla’s madness is well written. The despair that Jason faces every day is also well written. It’s an honest look at a marriage falling apart.
