What a cute story!

Loved the premise of music being magic. It’s a kid’s story so some of the school drama and plot need to be taken in with that in mind. But I found it really enjoyable! I loved the way they added the musical parts in the background. I generally do NOT like when audiobooks do this as it adds no value, however here it really made sense and was very well done!

Better than expected

I’m a musician, and this was free, so I thought give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised to get sucked in to the storyline and the well written character development. Some of the plot twists were fairly obvious, but otherwise very creative, well written, and well performed. It left me wanting a sequel, and a movie.

If you like music and magic this is a wonderful audiobook to try. It really shows how an audio format can enhance the written word and make it beautiful. I cried through the entire climax of this book and I’m about to see if this author has written more. I don’t regret this being one of my free Audible Original choices.
