The Omen Machine is the 12th book in the Sword of Truth series by author Terry Goodkind. The accident leads to the discovery of a mysterious machine that has been hidden deep underground for countless millennia. The machine wakes up to start emitting increasingly alarming omens. The omens turned out to be surprisingly accurate and increasingly disturbing. As Zedd tries to find a way to destroy the sinister device, the machine gives a cataclysmic omen involving Richard and Kahlan, foreshadowing impending events beyond anyone’s ability to stop. As disaster approaches, the machine reveals it’s capable of withdrawing the omen… in exchange for an impossible request.

01- The previous books were about greatness, adventure, travel, new and exciting twists and turns. In The Omen Machine, you feel trapped in a place with stupid characters. And the saddest is Zed. He falls to the point of not believing what Richard says or repeating what Richard says. This book is like the previous adventures that didn’t happen other than “the war is over”. With everything that happened to them before, they never took anything seriously. And all those doubtful conversations are mind-numbing. And it’s really strange that the whole affair with Kahlan forgets all and the consequences of what happened in author Terry Goodkind’s series.
02- This is the sequel to the Sword of Truth series by author Terry Goodkind. The book includes familiar characters and familiar locations beyond a brief stint in a new and murky part of D’Hara. The main characters in the story like Richard and Kahlan, Chimes and Chainfire and some other minor characters. The story is the exciting new central device you find in this fascinating book. The heroines are still waiting for the hero’s miraculous rescue.
03- The Omen Machine has surpassed other books. Richard and Kahlan and the rest of the family, neither of them staying in any position long enough to understand the plot details, I found myself skimming the page to get through the incessant jokes. The Omen’s path is over, I’m sure we’ll go to another book so we can find out how Richard needed to ensure the Omen’s purpose for existence.
04- This is a delightful book for anyone who loves Richard and Kahlan. We know that Richard is a Truth Seeker, as well as a gifted person with addition and subtraction. He is a War Wizard that has been tested in battles. He was shown to have an aptitude for leadership, both politically and militarily.
Despite all this, he comes from a farm boy yokls, a guide in the woods, facing many of the challenges of this novel. After many years of living with a family member who is a leading prophet in the world, he understands that between recent predictions and actual prophecy. He persists in his studies and searches for answers to the occult magic that is plaguing him and his followers. Did he know that the empire he had worked so hard to build would simply disappear? After extensive experience with Sliph and other magically forged weapons thousands of years ago, the Regula may have been created as a similar weapon. The executive Manuel may be important enough to brave a trip to the Temple.
