The Overdue Life of Amy Byler – Full Audiobook By Kelly Harms

We laugh at the situation presented in the novel but not all of us, especially the moms who can take the whole picture in a serious way. The woman in the house who does nothing according to many is always the one who is performing more than ninety percent of the household work and the house cannot function without her. Amy Byler had dealt with odd circumstances throughout her life, her husband left her helpless with her children and since then she has been working and taking care of the domestic work too. 

However for once in life she gets lucky when her husband comes up to the door from nowhere and provides her time out, a break she had been craving for. She thinks about nothing and gets on the road at once with passion in her eyes she moves to New York. She starts enjoying the luxury of the city and the blind dates concept too. Gets into one relation and then the other she quickly starts forgetting the life that she was having with her family.

 Even falls in love in this little span and wants to continue her passion but then again her past takes over. She is left with a decision that only she can make because she is the one who will bear the consequences after that. Kelly Harms has really presented the true picture of an average house wife who just wants to get out of the grove of the daily cycle. You Can Thank Me Later and The Good Luck Girls of Shipwreck Lane also possess the same sort of characters; it has been Kelly’s motive to present domestic issues in a dramatic way. 

Amy McFadden has enhanced the drama with her voice in narration of this wonderful novel that is not tragic and in the end it is even not funny anymore.
