The Plot To Change America – Audiobook Online
“The Plot to Change America” by Mike Gonzalez is a political non-fiction book that examines the rise of identity politics in the United States. The author argues that this movement is a threat to the traditional values and ideals of the United States and could fundamentally change the country’s political and social landscape. Gonzalez argues that identity politics, with its emphasis on group identity and victimhood, is a departure from the founding principles of individual rights and equality under the law. He shows how identity politics is being used to undermine traditional institutions such as the family, religion, and the Constitution. The author also delves deep into the roots of identity politics, tracing its origins to the writings of Marxist thinkers who sought to promote class consciousness. He demonstrates how these ideas have been co-opted by progressive activists who have turned their attention to race, gender, and sexuality. Throughout the book, Gonzalez presents a compelling argument against identity politics. He calls for a return to the traditional values of individual liberty, limited government, and the rule of law. He also offers practical solutions to address the problems caused by identity politics, such as the need for more dialogue and debate and the importance of building strong communities. Overall, “The Plot to Change America” is an important and thought-provoking work that raises critical questions about the direction of contemporary American politics. It is a must-read for anyone interested in understanding the challenges facing the country to day.

The Conspiracy to Change America exposes myths that help identity politics perpetuate itself.
This book reveals what really happened, explains why a change of direction is urgently needed, and offers a strategy for doing so. While we shouldn’t fool ourselves into thinking that it’s easy to get rid of identity politics, we shouldn’t think too hard about it either. Identity politics is based on forming groups and then encouraging people to conform to them. If we eliminate grouping and seduction, we can get away with identity politics.
The first myth that this book exposes is that identity politics is a grassroots movement, when it was and continues to be an elite project from the start. For too long, we have lived with the fairy tale that America has organically grown into a nation plagued by victimization and identity divisions; that all are the result of legitimate claims by the minority for recognition or compensation for past wrongs. The second myth is that identity politics is a response to the demographic change this country has undergone since immigration laws were completely changed in 1965. Another myth we are known to resist these changes is futile as well as perverse, because by 2040, America will be a country with an ethnic majority anyway. This book helps explain that none of this is necessarily true.
Very informative, with a detailed history of the current forces at play, as well as ideas and solutions to counter the forces at play – so I have a lot to credit the author for tackling a politically incorrect subject with facts, logic, and grace. If you haven’t experienced firsthand the reasons why he wrote this book, you might consider reading White Fragility, and it will be painfully clear to you where things are going.
This is a brief, but detailed history of attempts to assuage discontent, threaten individual liberties, destroy the rule of law, and undermine the principles of the freest, most inclusive, most protective, and most successful society in world history, while replacing it with a tyranny of the intelligentsia, who thrived both on their own emotional and economic woes and proclaimed as inferior to those who were declared inferior by their inferiority. .
