This is one of the harder books I’ve read over the years, It doesn’t require my meager language skills but is a nerve-wracking work in which Possession continually puts you in various emotional states, the app shares a feat of being weird. Anxiety, hatred, fear, loneliness – it’s all there. And they’re not going anywhere.

The Possession of Mr Cave is a slow and naughty movie with frenzied details, where the pace changes very abruptly near the end and you end up with more questions than actual answers.

It is not a book for everyone; in fact, it’s a far cry from Haig’s other prose that I’ve devoured over the past months.. which only makes it all the more interesting, thanks to the rich experience of the writer.
