This is one of my favorite books. A book about lost friendship and love. Books of magic, demons and dragons. The Adventures of Dean and Miris is a book I can read over and over again. And I have.
I really enjoyed listening. Something that is a bit annoying is that sometimes the performer doesn’t read the sentence as described. Deans is said to be growling a word but it’s smoother and more hilarious. And a few times I felt like she was using miris’ ‘voice’ for another character.
All in all, I enjoyed it and will read it again as usual.

The Red Heart of Jade is a fantastic book complete with heart-pounding suspense, breathtaking romance, creepy magic, and a fascinating couple with incredible power. Marjorie M. Liu created a world unique to Dirk & Steele. I felt like I could curl up with her books and be completely engrossed for hours, accompanying Miri and Dean and the other agents as they fought for their life and love. I love this series and Red Heart of Jade is another perfect example of why Marjorie M. Liu is one of my favorite authors. I highly recommend The Red Heart of Jade to any occult lover!
