You know what is not temporary? The endless stream of dirty socks in my bathroom and empty food packages under the sofa – and don’t even get me started with the hot guys taking over my living room every Sunday to watch sports.

I can not take it anymore.

So I propose a roommate deal. One that would bring peace and order to my life, complete with rules that would stop my beginning love with my best friend.

After all, there are only so many times you can see your best friend naked before you start to lose your mind.

If you love both friend and trope lover, you will absolutely love this one. It’s a fun, quirky, and witty book with unique characters that are less offensive and packed with heart. Once in, I couldn’t wait to see what happened next with Jay and Shelby and when everything was said and done I was really happy, but really wanted more words to read so I could see where the next leg of their journey would take them.

I admire Jay and Shelby. Jay is a nice guy who hasn’t fully entered the adult field, which I can totally understand. He is laid-back, funny and despite some of his weaknesses, a lover and later Shelby. Shelby is… unique, and there’s a part of me that wants to tell it all, but she’s someone you need to experience in all of her quirks, uniqueness, and sometimes sheer glory.
