Newly read favorite at home bubble bath night spa. The lead character’s sassy, gripping romances and twist on a childhood favorite made this a story I could easily fall in love with. I started reading Carries’ writing with her Riftkeepers series. Seeing writers thrive in their craft is exactly what I want to see in a long-term relationship with someone. The only caveat is if you’re going to read this book – go ahead and buy the whole series. I’ve dived into book 2!

LOVED this retelling of The Wizard of Oz, and it’s the first retelling of its kind I’ve read. With the interesting concepts the author put into this book, there’s a lot to keep you hooked and read it to the end. I can’t wait to see what the next book in the series will have.
