- An Eclipse Novella
- Narrated by: Emma Galvin
Fans of The Twilight Saga will be enthralled by this gripping tale of Bree Tanner, a character first introduced in Eclipse, and the dark side of the infant vampire world she inhabits. In an irresistible combination of danger, mystery and romance, Stephenie Meyer tells the devastating story of Bree and the newborn army as they prepare to close in on Bella Swan and the Cullens, following their encounter Their ending leads to an unforgettable ending.
Personally, I think Meyer’s writing is better in this short story form because the action and emotions are built quickly without the text becoming tedious. In fact, I became more interested than expected as I learned more about the characters we caught a glimpse of. The narrator did a great job with Bri and Diego’s voices as well as the overall tone. The other characters’ voices aren’t very well established, but this doesn’t detract from the experience to any degree.
This is a very sweet and informative story. I really want her to survive. I love how Stephanie makes you like a character and brings you into their life.
