Each chapter reveals new clues and perspectives as different authors take turns advancing the plot. The authors skillfully maintain consistency in character development and plot progression, ensuring that the story remains engaging and coherent throughout.

Admiral is a tavern in the Suffolk seaside village of Crabwell, Admiral Byng. Admiral is also the nickname of its owner, Geoffrey Horatio Fitzsimmons, as well as the name of the owner’s dinghy. None of them were as popular as expected, as the pub was in danger of closing due to declining sales.

The authors must have had a lot of fun working with the book and it shows.

I found this reading particularly interesting when I read it shortly after reading The Floating Admiral written by the original members of the Detective Club. I think having different authors adds texture to the book as they all have their own style and quirks. If you want something different then try this modern collaboration.
