This book is simultaneously educational, inspirational, and poetic. The search for life on Mars has never been so real and… so close to home. it is exactly what it says it is. It relies heavily on science so it can sometimes be a dry read, especially the first part of the book. but it’s fun, very informative, with personal stories added to connect science with something real and understandable.

This is one of the best planetary science books I have ever read. Absolutely amazing. Love the connection to history woven throughout the story. A great story about the history of Mars exploration and the search for life. Compelling story and excellent vocal performance.
