The Thief/ Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 16 – Audiobook Online

The Thief is a book written by J.R. Ward. The story revolves around the character Sola Morte, a former thief who has abandoned her criminal past due to the dangers it posed. She is now living in a distant location away from Caldwell, where she strives to keep her beloved grandmother safe and protected from any harm.

Sola Morte’s decision to leave her previous life behind was prompted by the actions of a notorious family of drug dealers. Fearing for her safety and that of her grandmother, she chose to go into hiding and start anew. The details of her past life as a thief are not explicitly mentioned in the summary, but it can be inferred that she was involved in illegal activities before turning her back on that lifestyle.

Throughout the book, Sola Morte finds herself constantly on the run, trying to evade the clutches of the drug dealer family who are determined to track her down. Her main priority is ensuring the safety of her grandmother, whom she holds dear and wants to shield from any harm or involvement in her dangerous past.

As the story progresses, Sola Morte’s resilience and determination are tested as she navigates through various challenges and obstacles. She must rely on her wit, skills, and resourcefulness to outsmart those who seek to harm her and protect her loved ones.

Unfortunately, without further information or access to the book itself, it is not possible to provide a more detailed summary of The Thief by J.R. Ward.

Sola Morte, a former thief, gave up her previous life for the wrongdoing of the law. On the run from a family of drug dealers, she now lives far away from Caldwell, keeping her dear grandmother safe and out of trouble. However, her heart still goes out to a man who broke through her defenses: Assail, who was never meant to be in love – let alone a human. However, they have no future, and not only because she doesn’t know the fact that he is a vampire, but also because he has no intention of stopping selling weapons to the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Fate, however, had other plans for them. As Assail fell into a coma and neared death, his cousins reached out to Sola and begged her to give him a reason to live. The last thing she wants is to go back to the past, but how can she allow him to die?

like all books about brotherhood, it’s a pleasure to read, we travel through history, seeing ourselves inside the events, fluttering and hoping for the best.

I love this audiobook! I read the book but I decided to try it on an audiobook and I don’t regret it, on the contrary, I will want more! The narrator, Carla Dias is an excellent professional! Congratulations to her!

As always, I love the variety of characters and taboo topics the author always brings into his stories.
In this book, Assail fights against cocaine addiction and shows us the harmful effects of this drug.
Sola, thinking he has cancer and is dying, returns to him, but she is not very pleased when she finds out he is a vampire.
I love Sola’s grandma, awesome!
I love that this book has a lot of scenes of V and Jane, one of my favorite couples.
