What a great book that follows Sophia as she attacks on her own with her forever loyal dragon friend. This book brings light to a new world shaken by the youngest dragon rider ever, a girl. Terrible shock. It’s great to see Sophia becoming herself, growing and discovering her new life with such grit and determination with the much – loved characters from the Liv books appearing. I tried not to read this book once, saving it for a day of travel, but once I started, I couldn’t put it down. Great story.

The Uncommon Rider is the perfect blend of old world values ​​of Justice and Equity combined with the excitement and thrill of youthful optimism. Climate change is subtly presented as a threat to the earth and its inhabitants. A young, new female dragon rider who combines both magical aptitude and tech-savvy skills to confront threats that will destroy the world if left unchecked.
