Neil Gaiman has not written very sentimental or emotional stories but his works have been rational and précis. For other narrators, it has always been tough to narrate Neil’s works that’s why he has tried to narrate most of his works himself just like this one. The book by the author is more like a bouquet that has colorful flowers all combined rhythmically. Each story, speech, or article combined in the book has its taste which is different from the rest of the material present in the book.

Neil has tried to produce serious work but as a clever writer, the man knew that serious work also becomes boring for the public and it tends to get rid of it quickly. This book also appeared as one of such books when the author created it for the first time and then he intentionally added something for the fans to enjoy and relax. There are essays or articles which make us laugh and if we analyze them closely we will come to know that the material is not connected to the main theme.

Perhaps the author added these extras after giving the book a second glance. The Sandman and Norse Mythology work on a single theme, there are not a lot of topics discussed in these books at the same time. But by all means, these two books are also equal in quality to this current book. The author has created these three books with quite a detail for an audience that can understand literature deeply. Suspense, sudden twists, and a plot have not been the prime focus of the author in his books which are all not storybooks for the kids.
