Wolf Pack – Full Audiobook By C J Box

It has been quite a while since the first launch of the “Joe Pickett” series but the series is moving on with the same passion. C. J. Box has not tried too much to experiment with the personality of the man thus the originality is never disturbed.

The best thing about the author is that he keeps the thing original we witness this in Winterkill and Savage Run and other such books by the author. Still it does not mean that the character is not evolving at all, development is there but the entire nature is always the same. Joe Pickett faces threat that he never thought he would face in his life.

It is FBI and DOJ that stops him from interfering in the evil designs of a spoiled brat. The spoiled boy who has been killing the wildlife with the help of his drone is the grandson of a millionaire with million dollar connections of course. Moreover the boy is dating Joe’s daughter which means that things are a real more sensitive for the hero this time.

Joe does not know the true purpose or cause behind the killing but still he knows that there is something big going one that has forced the FBI to get involved as well. Joe tries to hold back this time but fails to control his natural instincts and thus plunges into issue making every one his enemy including his daughter. David Chandler narrates slowly but accurately though the variation is not there in most places where it was needed but overall it is a good and neatly narrated piece of art.
