You Can Thank Me Later (Audiobook) A Novella By Kelly Harms
The life of a domestic woman has been the prime focus of Kelly Harms for a while now. The author has invested quite a time in investigating and inspecting the life of women in distress or under some sort of stress. She is of the opinion that the women who are overburdened or stressed always need a time out and that time out could be in the form of a new relation as well.
We observe this in books like The Overdue Life of Amy Byler where the mother in the house wants to spend some time without her children. Though she loves her family, her family life seems to be haunting her because it was killing her personal life. This book does not provide a chance of laughter at start but provides us an insight to the life of a widow.
It is something we usually don’t think of after hearing about any death in the family, what becomes of the children and the widow we never bother to pay attention to. It is a new chapter in the life of a family and a tragic one too.
The theme looks the same as the woman wants a time out. She is even tired of the mourning now and the daily fatigue too. Although the story was well written by Lauren Fortgang’s voice has given it feeling and that sense which makes it heart touching for those who have witnessed or faced such circumstances. Each word uttered has life in it and makes us delve deeper into the life of the family that faces a tragedy now.
