A Shade of Vampire 6: A Gate of Night is the sixth book in the Shade of Vampire series by author Bella Forrest. Derek and Sofia get a well-deserved break. They stay at the resort with delicious food, sunshine and sea. Sofia is emotional when Derek returns to the human world.

They are mistaken for the ordinary young couple, if not for the red-eyed monster that lurks in the dark and watches their every move.

This is the book that comes to readers with many interesting and  surprises. Hunters and vampires really work together, vampires and witches turn into humans, humans turn into witches. The people in the shade were either possessed or dead, some of the remaining people were making deals with the hunters.
