A dead body was discovered later some hundreds of miles away with the same sort of knife wounds. The other victims were a city judge and an old lady who was living in the forest. The wounds on all of them were identical and nothing was separating them at all. Mercy is determined to find the murderer with the help of Police Chief Truman Daly. She needed to trace the killer well before the count of the dead bodies rise any further.

A Merciful Secret is a fast-paced book with some interesting and weird family relation stories.
