The book is designed for the fans as it has been created by the fans who have been listening to Neil Gaiman for many years. The author wrote many things for the fans among those were these five novels which he wrote for an adult audience. All of the novels were fiction based and they touched on topics of love, mystery, and fashions of the era. Book has extracts from all of these novels and after listening to them in the voice of George Guidall, Lenny Henry and Leon Nixon one can guess what the original books have to offer.

A nice guide is provided in the form of this book which not only touches these five novels but also has components from the fifty short stories which Neil wrote on different subjects. Book has more flavor than The Sandman and Norse Mythology and it was a tough job i.e collecting everything in a single book. Everything is arranged so beautifully that the listener is gripped by each of the sentences present on the pages. Along with a variety, the thoughts and ideas which the stories convey are a must-have item for fiction crazy people.

Things happen all of a sudden in most stories and then the rest of the scenes develop on these rare events quite automatically. If you buy this one just don’t try to digest all of it over one night, it will take two to three days to understand the subject matter of these bundles of stories present on different pages. Narrators also have tried to keep things slow for the large audience which likes stories dished up in neat order.
