A Dirty Job is a humor fiction which is written by Christopher Moore. The book is chapter 1 of the series titled Grim Reaper. Secondhand Souls is the sequel of this opening book which is also quite exciting and hard to resist after you finish the first chapter of the series. On top of that, Shakespeare for Squirrels is another novel written by Christopher Moore which is highly recommended for his fans.

The story in this novel starts with the character of Charlie Asher who is quite a normal guy. He was a bit hapless sort of a hypochondriac. He was known as a Beta Male who is a kind of guy making his way through the hardships of life while being doubly cautious, constant, and careful.

But, Charlie Asher has been always quite lucky. He owns a big building right in the heart of the San Francisco city and he also runs a secondhand shop with the help of a couple of loyal and slightly insane guys. He is married to a pretty woman who loves him a lot for his normalcy. And, Rachel is just about to have her first child with Charlie. It was right after the birth of their daughter Sophie when everything changed in their lives.

Fisher Stevens was fantastic with his performance. The book was also a nominee in the Quill Award in 2006 which on its own speaks about its success.
