Come Find Me has carved up space for itself in the crowded field of the teen and young adult genre. Although facing stifling competition, the tried and tested formula has once again borne fruit attributing to the writing of Megan Miranda. Along with this thriller from the author, you’d be hard-pressed to miss out on other works from her, including The Perfect Stranger and All the Missing Girls.

Michael Crouch and Jorjeana Marie have lent their voices for the narration of this thriller. Both have garnered praise for their performance among listeners, especially the male narrator.

Come Find Me is the story of two intelligent teens that come together on the premise of the discovery of a radio frequency that eerily suggests that their seemingly unrelated family tragedies are somehow linked. A 16-year-old Kennedy Jones has gone through a family tragedy; the disappearance of her brother. She has sworn she will spare no effort looking at all corners of the world if she has to. In another picture, one whole country away, 17-year-old Nolan Chandler had gone through a similar misfortune of losing his brother. Both experience odd signals that set them on a journey bound to come face to face with each other along with the realization that something beyond their control is happening.

The story which has drawn comparisons to Stranger Things neither relies too much on thriller or action. It combines the powerful elements of two compelling characters, intelligent characters arcs, and an interwoven story between them. Since the story takes its time developing its characters, it can drag on for a bit. That may be taken as a positive, however, as it reveals the effects of personal tragedy and how it resonates with reality.
