(Free Online Audiobook) Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children By Ransom Riggs
Ransom Riggs is an American filmmaker and writer. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. It is a fictional novel written for a young adult audience. The book is chapter 1 of Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children’s novel series. The author has written some other inspiring novels which include The Conference of the Birds and A Map of Days.
Jesse Bernstein has given the narration of this novel which was not impressive at all. He struggled with his accent and reading overall was quite awful.
This one is an unforgettable novel that will make a very gripping and thrilling experience for the listeners. The story opens with a painful tragedy of the family where Jacob, a 16-year old traveled to a far off island in Wales.
Just as Jacob started to explore his abandoned hallways and bedrooms, it becomes evident that the kids were a lot more than just weird. They may also have been quite dangerous too. They could have been quarantined over a deserted island for absolutely no good reason at all. Somehow, they may be alive, but it seems impossible though.
The book is a spine-chilling fantasy which promises to delight teens, adults and anyone interested in relishing some great adventure in the shadows.
The characters are strong with some inspiring stories. If we keep the narration of this novel aside, then the book was quite great with excellent storytelling by Ransom Riggs. The narration definitely could have been much better which would make the overall experience quite interesting for the listeners of this novel.
