disappointed

iam obsessed with jude and cardan and the cruel prince trioligy the told stories are just sooo small soo small and some are dull that I really donot care about i wished Holly focused on more significant points in the triology jude and cardan moments barely exist ok the illustrations are beautiful but I expected waaaay more waaay more so the only thing that made these 2 hours and 48 minutes bearable is the narrator who deserves an Oscar for the whole performance through out the series so thank you caitlin u r the best of the best …….

I don’t know what I was expecting this book to be, or what content it would contain—but let me tell you; I am thoroughly pleased I bought it. Not only does it include a few stories of moments we’ve already read through Judes POV (like the river scene) in Cardans POV, but it also gives a little more insight into Cardans character, more depth to his backstory, and a more fleshed out explanation for why he is the way he is. It also contains beautiful illustrations and art work of the characters/scenes scattered throughout the book.
All in all, it is beautifully and masterfully written with my only complaint being that it isn’t very long.
Thanks again Holly Black, for creating another masterpiece.

A lovely tale

The story of Beloved King Cardan is lovely and sad as the character himself. Love to hear little more about Cardan’s adventures and childhood, also, see inside his mind and a bit more about Jude and Cardan relationship.
