My thoughts: When little Betsey Curtis suffered an unexplained head injury and was hospitalized, the hospital, the police and even those closest to the mother, Jess Curtis, all questioned. What creates the most suspicion is the feeling that Jess is hiding something, which is why her story is not supplemented.

The emergency doctor who first saw Betsey was Liz Trenchard, Jess’s friend, so she was dropped from the case. But she can’t be completely without looking for answers, albeit informally.

Little Disasters takes us back in time, revealing profound details about the friendship between the characters. As we followed timelines and clues, we gradually learned what happened. But who will suffer the most if the whole truth comes out?

As we follow Jess’s inner monologue, intertwined with her dark fears, we also glimpse Liz’s past and something that happened in her childhood. Can anyone really be exonerated when bad things happen?
