So now I am doomed to repeat this grim story over and over until Arthur wins my love. But this vampire queen would never choose Arthur. Not after what he did. I would certainly never choose him over Lancelot. I would never accept just one knight. Not when I can have it all.

Oh, and this time? Arthur will be King once and die, because Camelot is mine.

This is a great addition to their Vampire Queen series, and finally brings us the story of Gwen ! I absolutely love all aspects of it ! I don’t want to go into too much detail for fear of revealing, but let me just say that Merlin is not what you were expecting, Arthur is the biggest woman-hating pig, and Gwen is more like Guinevere than you can possibly be guess. This is a fun, easy-to-read book that further expands the universe in which Aima lives.

Queen once and long future future!!! I’m so happy to finally see Gwen’s story unfold. We get to see Gwen reunited with her friends, it’s a bit dark there for a minute but long live the queen. This book is a bit short but it certainly delivers on its promise. Now that I’ll say this, I appreciate a very happy, bloody and epic ending. The king is long dead, the queen is alive.
