I loved Mary Elizibeth McGlynn’s narration. She loves CR and is good friends with the cast as well as her love of TV shows. This book is a great overview, and it also provides a pretty solid introduction to what Dungeons and Dragons is and what it can offer to those who don’t know or who only know the ins and outs of Dungeons and Dragons. meaning existed in the 80s about it. As a long-time player and DM myself, I’ve found a lot of useful and instructive perspectives on the game itself, through the lens of Critical Role. That’s a compliment, not an expose, which is why it’s so long. The cast is an amazing group of people and it shows in everything they do.
