The Fellowship of the Ring (Audiobook) by J. R. R. Tolkien

The Fellowship of the Ring was inspired by The Hobbit. Till date, this book is still one of the most inventive and most popular works in English Literature. It’s the first book in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. It starts with a great adventure as nations and the underworld battle for the supreme power of a single ring.

It plunges the members of the Fellowship of the Ring into a dangerous adventure to find and destroy the ring before a dangerous evil seizes it to destroy the peace of the world.

The battle of good and evil starts with the quest to take the ring where it could be destroyed. Otherwise, the world and humanity will be at the mercy of the evil underworld.

J.R.R Tolkien, a magnificent storytelling with eyes for captivating tales, begins this trilogy with excellent plot development. The book starts with action, as the fierce battle between evil and good begins. He tells the tales of a magical universe where wizards, elves, and hobbits provide their unique roles to help the cause of humanity.

The book alone is a standout masterpiece. But the audio narration by Rob Inglis makes it even better. You would be able to relate with all the characters in the book without much efforts.

Although there are quite a number of different recordings of the Fellowship of the Rings, this one by Rob Inglis stands out among them all. He represented the characters with the right voice and diction. All the names of places and characters were effectively pronounced. More importantly, he put in the right tone and emotion on the characters.  The first book in this trilogy is exceptionally written and properly narrated.
