I love Susan Morgan’s style, humor and power of description! The perfect antidote to the 2021 Christmas Covid lockdown. Multidimensional, well-observed and likable characters. The plot, never boring, flows easily. The plot follows the emotional connection journey of an estranged mother and her two daughters, their own growth, and the balance in their other relationships. Add in some cracking scenes, a sprinkling of snowflakes, a few reindeer, just enough romance and sexual references to add warmth and fun to the plot, I can totally recommend this book…. I bought it for friends since then and I’m reading ‘First Time in Forever’ by the same author.
