Being trapped by a howling storm seems bad enough, until Ben and his patrons discover something terrible and deadly lurking in the blizzard outside, causing things got a lot worse.

Masked attackers take them down one by one until a local historian claims the attackers may be the remnants of a clan entangled in an ancient blood transfusion feud, believed to have taken place in the locality. pub point. And worse yet, they seem to be cannibals. Even so, Ben soon learns that the clan’s cannibals have the least to worry about – the monsters are actually much scarier… and much closer to home.

Listening to this was the perfect way to get me in the Halloween mood! You know, a story is great when you recall something you’ve read or heard and remember it like a movie in your head. The characters and locations are drawn in your mind by the author.

I really enjoyed this story. I love local bars and being closed in a bar wasn’t a bad thing for me, until…. something was going wrong outside. I love the characters and love the setting. This is not a zombie or vampire story, so don’t go that route, because it’s not either of those things. The story is much more and worth listening to. I’ve been hooked up to my headphones for this one. Well written and well narrated. If you want a good thriller with a horror edge, look no further.
