It is spring time now in the forgotten village where you will find buds on the trees. But, everything here is not meant to make a return to life.

A fee villagers in Three Pines made up their mind to celebrate Easter. They were all hoping to have the Three Pines town free of its evil. One of them died of fright. But, was this really a natural death or it is actually a murder?

The case came into the hands of Armand Gamache, the Chief Inspector of Surete du Quebec who was quite a compassionate and brilliant officer. This was a type of case which will push him to deal with his own ghosts along with those of the idyllic town.

The author is very rightly credited with the revival of traditional mystery thrillers. You will love this chapter and the character of Gamache with the new challenges.
